Real estate has given Evan what he’s always craved – freedom. Evan is one of the most experienced real estate investors in our office. Since he first got involved in real estate five years ago, Evan has amassed 14 rental units. He specializes in finding properties that need fixing up and turns them into appealing homes for tenants. Evan truly believes that real estate is the ultimate investment vehicle and he’s a member of the local chapter of Real Estate Investment Network (REIN).
Evan eagerly shares his knowledge about renovating and evaluating cash-flow properties with clients and his colleagues at Vantage West Realty. He strives to improve himself and add to his skill set. His knowledge is invaluable to those moving into the Kelowna area for the first time, those downsizing or clients who are adding to their portfolio. If he’s helping you buy, Evan knows what’s happening in different neighbourhoods. He advises clients on their best course of action if they’re in the market to purchase. And he’s very experienced with pricing strategies if you’re selling your home or investment property.
While he was born in Kelowna, Evan lived in various parts of North America growing up and still spends time travelling throughout Canada and the U.S. When he got the opportunity to move back to the Okanagan Region, Evan jumped at it. He couldn’t wait to take advantage of the beautiful scenery, the friendly communities and summers spent on the lake. One of the things Evan likes most about working is real estate is the ability to schedule weeks off every year to travel. Last year he spent four weeks touring Vietnam. He loves to explore different countries and cultures, meet new people and try exotic food.
